Together we can be a blessing!
Be a Blessing
Did you know that nearly 63% of children in Miami-Dade County live in households that can’t afford basic necessities? In fact, 19% of those children are living in poverty, and 38% of parents say they’ll have to cut back on food and other needs this year just to make ends meet.
As followers of Jesus, this breaks our hearts and we want to do something about it. That’s why we’re starting Be a Blessing.
Starting this summer, we want to serve 500 families in need through our Small Groups. Our goal is for each Group to come alongside a family and not just serve them once, but rather develop a relationship with them and be a blessing all year long—such as during back-to-school season, Thanksgiving, Christmas and beyond. When these families go through trials and hardship, they’ll know they have a group of people who are there for them and will support them.
As God has blessed us, let’s go and be a blessing to others.
