CAMPUS DIRECTOR

Helping Students (6th-12th grade) follow Jesus.

Christ Fellowship is a dynamic multi-site church spread throughout Miami-Dade County. The mission of our church is to make fully devoted followers of Christ. We are currently looking for a passionate individual to join our staff team as a full-time Campus Students Director responsible for the spiritual development of our students from sixth through twelve grades. Responsibilities:

  • Lead the church’s efforts to minister with and to students between 6th – 12th grade.

  • Oversee weekly student worship experiences that include many technical components and a live band.

  • Regularly teach the CF Students content to the students with conviction, compassion, and care.

  • Help develop (alongside other youth team members) student ministry content calendar for students that take into consideration the full counsel of God’s Word and the spiritual, physical, emotional, and mental needs of the students in our community.

  • Develop and execute a strategic plan for their campus of students.

  • Establish a long-term vision for how the church engages students.

  • Lead efforts to minister to the parenting needs of the church.

  • Recruit, develop, and deploy new volunteers for the church’s student ministry.

  • Work with other church leaders to find ministry opportunities for students in the broader church family.

  • Regularly report to the church’s leadership about developments in the student ministry.

  • In consultation with other youth leaders and senior church leadership, develop an annual budget for the student ministry and operate within the constraints of that budget.

  • Participate in all staff meetings and retreats.

  • Be available to help lead in adult worship services when asked.

  • Be a team player who collaborates with all ministries during weekend services.

 

Requirements:

  • A growing Christian faith and character.

  • A commitment to the mission of the church.

  • At least 2 years experience ministering to students and shepherding student ministry volunteers.

  • A desire to teach and mentor students in biblical truth.

  • Strong ability to lead people of varying ethnicities, socio-economic levels, and generations.

  • Have a proven track record in growing a team of people and inspiring them to action to achieve a common goal.

  • Experienced in developing and motivating adults and students to become leaders.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to pass a background check.
