WORSHIP
WHO WE ARE
The Worship Team is composed of Team Members from all Christ Fellowship locations who faithfully lead our congregation by their godly example on and off the stage with the goal of inspiring our church family to worship the Lord with more than songs, but in every aspect of life.
This serving opportunity is a leadership/ministry role. Striving for godly Christian character and having a leaders mindset is a requirement for anyone who desires to be part of the team.
2 Peter 1-5, Galatians 5:22-23, Philippians 2:15.
EXPECTATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
First you will need to fill out the worship team application below. An audition is required. If invited to join the team, you are expected to stay teachable and open to being developed in your craft and character. All new team members are asked to make it a priority to attend any worship training, studies, and meetings whenever necessary.
-
Background checks are required for all applicants age 18 and older.
-
An interview and orientation will be completed prior to serving.
-
We ask anyone who has not completed CF 101 to do so as a part of your onboarding experience
-
Must have discipline to practice & prepare for the weekend services.
-
We encourage all team members to join a small group that fits their current schedule. Small Groups are a great way to get connected to other people and build lasting relationships and are vital for sustained spiritual growth.

The role of frontline vocalist and band member is to lead worship environments using their musical abilities. They have a heart for people! They require the ability to execute songs, transitions, and contribute to the overall feel of the worship set. Memorizing all that is required to serve in a weekend service is a non-negotiable for every team member, and this includes coming prepared to every rehearsal.
Band members serve the team by creating an environment full of faith, family, and fun; while engaging in leading the church to worship God.
HOW TO AUDITION
All Christ Fellowship auditions are accepted via video submission.
We cannot wait to see the talents and gifts God has given you!
-
After receiving your submission:
-
We will review your video, and if we decide to move forward with the audition process you will hear from us via email.
-
We love having musicians with a wide range of talent, so if you play more than one instrument, audition for them all!
-
Please just make sure you only include one instrument per video. This includes vocalists who play instruments as well.
-
-
As you click on the resources link below you’ll find the audition materials for a variety of instruments.
-
Within each you will find two songs — one with a faster pace and dynamic, and one with a slower tempo.
-
Each song will have a PDF chord chart, the original track, and the loop. Listen and prepare the song, and then film a video of yourself playing to the loop.
-
It is important that both you and the click track are able to be heard as you are filming your audition.
-
-
Below is what we are listening for in regards to each instrument and also the resource links.
Thank you for taking the time to audition! We are thankful for your desire to lead our church in worship and are excited to go through this process with you. Please reach out with any questions you may have by email: ahernandez@cfmiami.org
