SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR

Christ Fellowship is a dynamic multi-site church in Miami-Dade County. The mission of our church is to help others follow Jesus.

We are currently seeking a dynamic Social Media Coordinator as part of our growing Creative Department team. This part-time position will be managed by the Social Meida Manager under the direction of the Communications Director.  The Social Media Coordinator will maintain a strong online presence for our organization.  If you are a tech-savvy professional with an interest in communicating our mission through online channels, we would like to meet you.

Job Description:

As a Social Media Coordinator for Christ Fellowship, you will collaborate with the Social Media Manager and Creative/Communications Department in all stages of content planning, creation, and execution.  You will have administrative duties, be responsible for the creation of schedules, work with marketing campaigns and more.  This position requires the skills to work in a fast-paced, fun and dynamic work environment. You will get to contribute to the mission of Christ Fellowship in helping others follow Jesus through social media.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Aid the Social Media Manager for the creation of schedules

  • Plan and execute content

  • Attend meetings with the Social Media Manager, or assist on behalf of the Manager and take notes

  • Work on weekends capturing preaching pastors photos in English and Spanish and covering what is happening at CF during the weekend (Saturday and Sunday)

  • Flexible schedule to go to events to capture, edit, and post content

  • Create weekend content for stories using creative ways to display the CF experience

  • Create reels for Instagram (English and Spanish)

  • Research other churches digital and physically with the Social Media Manager to learn and grow

  • Collaborate with the Creative Department and the other departments at Christ Fellowship

  • Attend all Staff Gatherings every week on Tuesdays

 

Requirements:

  • Available to work 20 hours a week

  • Strong desire to learn

  • Drive to be on task and complete assignments on time

  • Must be excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ideally in both English and Spanish but not required

  • Basic understanding of Google software (Docs, Sheets, etc.) and Microsoft Office

  • Should have a passion for social media and the marketing industry

  • Familiarity with marketing concepts and terms

  • Photography skills

  • Adobe Creative Suite preferred, but not required

  • Knowledge of Instagram reels and videos
