Make Someday, Today! is a special offering towards The Backpack Program. Our goal is to bring healthy and nutritious meals to under-resourced kids  that don’t have access to food during the weekend because the schools are closed. This offering is something that you give above and beyond what you normally give towards a special cause.

Who is Caring For Miami?

Caring for Miami is the non-profit arm of Christ Fellowship works to improve the lives of low income families in Miami by caring for their physical, spiritual and emotional needs. Through three unique programs we provide access to; hunger free weekends for children, free dental care to low income individuals, and equip immigrant families with education to advance their English speaking skills.

The Backpack Program

The Backpack Program provides nutritious, easy to prepare meals to food insecure children in Title I schools weekly, when school meals are unavailable. For many of these children, school meals may be the only meals they eat. 9.1% of the Miami Dade County population is food insecure. That means 240,000 people do not know where their next meal is coming from. Our goal this year is to raise enough to serve at least 750 of these children.

Inside each weekend bag Caring For Miami provides 2 breakfast, 2 lunches, 2 dinners, and 2 snacks, a fruit/vegetable option and whole milk.

We also include Christ Fellowship Church Invites and Information on our children’s and students ministries.

Here is how you can make and impact:
